Randstad is working with a highly respected developer-builder specialising in high-end commercial and luxury residential developments on the Gold Coast that is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will take ownership of commercial performance and oversee all financial operations across the project pipeline.
This position is ideal for an experienced Commercial Manager or an ambitious Senior Contracts Administrator/Senior Contracts Manager ready to step into a full commercial leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the commercial delivery of multiple residential apartment developments, ensuring strong financial and contractual outcomes.
- Drive procurement strategies, contract negotiations, subcontractor management, and risk mitigation initiatives.
- Manage project budgets, forecasting, cost reporting, claims, variations, and overall commercial performance.
- Provide leadership and mentor ship to commercial team members, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Partner with project teams, consultants, and stakeholders to support successful project delivery and business objectives.
Experience Required
- Extensive experience as a Commercial Manager / Senior Contracts Manager within the Australian construction industry.
- Proven success delivering large-scale residential apartment, high-rise, or mixed-use developments.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, commercial risk, and contract administration.
- Demonstrated experience managing multi million dollar project budgets and commercial teams.
- Degree qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Commerce, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Full Australian working rights.
